How to Share the Love and Respect Message: It’s This Simple!

By far, the most rewarding part of Love and Respect Ministries over the years has been the countless stories I have heard from others whose lives and marriages have been impacted greatly by the books, the studies, the conference, or some other part of the ministry.  It is truly humbling to see how multiple generations within families and churches are being touched by the Ephesians 5:33 message of Love and Respect.

Stories such as this one warm my heart:

My husband and I have been using your conference DVDs for about ten years. We started offering a pre-marital class using another author’s materials and added the Love and Respect message to our class after attending your conference in Florida.

We have since moved to Georgia, where we chose a church with a young congregation although we are both in our seventies. We were asked almost immediately to teach a Sunday school class on marriage. We are in our fourth repeat of what we make a twelve-week class. Your video has ministered to over twenty-five couples with several taking the class repeatedly.

Our church now has the DVD conference in RightNowMedia available to everyone who signs up. The format we use is to show one portion of the conference and allow for about forty minutes class interaction.

Several couples say this has been life-changing for them. I lost my husband to cancer after twenty-nine years of marriage. God brought into my life a gentleman who had lost his wife to cancer after twenty-six years of marriage. Today we are celebrating twenty-eight years of marriage. We have eight children between us, eighteen grandchildren, almost three great-grandchildren with our five oldest grandchildren married.

God has truly blessed us to be able to minister to our own family as well as countless other families, including a missionary couple in Honduras. We gave them a crash course and Love and Respect books in both English and Spanish.

I say all this not to highlight anything we did but to thank you so much for making the conference so real that people can relate to it. We don't have to do much more than show the video and ask a few pertinent questions.
